What are the dynamics of a top notch heroine? You want her to be identifiable - like Bella, in the
Stephanie Meyer's Twilight trilogy, but you still wish her to be powerful for instance Scarlett
O'Hara, in Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. What about should you had a number of
heroine? Somebody young as well as improving into her power, similar to Bella coupled with
somebody older or stronger, just like the woman Scarlett evolves into.
Stephanie Meyer and Margaret Mitchell have something in common with this author because their
heroines are women that we both wish to be or we can admire although we will possibly not
support the manner they acquire the things they need to continue living. Reha in Blossoming is a
mature heroine whose activities can be quite questionable yet she remains a formidable and
resilient character. The equivalent will be said for Margaret Mitchell's Scarlett. Kore is young and
also just learning about herself as well as her possibilities, exactly like Stephenie Meyer's Bella.
Both are confronted by problems and both will have to tackle their doubts and overcome them in
order to develop into their genuine selves.
Scarlett is contrary to Blossoming's Reha in that she is at the start of her adult life but yet she has
regrets, just as Reha does, and she makes choices and needs activity that some other women
will possibly not support. They both suffer in love thereby making blunders that result in harm and
upset to those around them. Still do we like them less? Probably not. Mitchell's heroine is
unforgiving in her brashness as is Reha.

Excerpt textual content from Blossoming:
Was it not Sun Tzu who said, "All warfare is based on deception"?
So, reinforcements had arrived. The invasion was complete. Reha was sure their next move
would be to divide and then conquer - in that order. Isn't that what aggressors did, after all? It
wouldn't take the brothers long to turn Kate against her, and then to rule through her, before she
was overthrown completely, so to speak. Reha wondered when Kate would realise that these
events, and the prospect of the power they brought with them, might lead her to betray Kore.
It was not Reha's public punishment the brothers wanted. They hadn't arrived with the police - for
what evidence did they have, other than the testimony of a blind and crippled drunk!? No, it was
the Estate they were after. Or at least that was Zack's motive and he thought he could take it with
little resistance.
If they confronted her now, Reha would have no option but to capitulate immediately. That way,
they would not only get rid of her but also steal Kore's inheritance - she was simply not ready to
pass the ceremony yet! But Reha could feel Kore gaining in strength every day, the girl merely
needed more time. Even a few weeks might make the difference. At this point Reha wasn't sure
she would even be willing to attempt the ceremony.
Returning to the comfort of her bed, Reha continued to think the situation through. In order to
postpone their takeover, she would have to avoid a confrontation with the conspirators. She was
the guilty one, not Kore. A trap had to be set to lull them into a false sense of security; that was
2. what had to be done. Reha would invite the enemy in, and treat them as if they were already the
victors. In the process their efforts would be thwarted. By admitting her sickness and announcing
her retirement as matriarch, she could ensure that they would have no need to punish her for her
sins, and she could arrange that the ceremony be held the day after the Halloween party. That
way, Kore would have more time to prepare, and a better chance of prevailing against the
scheming triumvirate. Continue reading:
