History/Bio of Larry Hazen
Larry has been in the Insurance Industry for over 30 years, 28 years as an agent/owner (3rd generation in his family
agency) and in-house trainer (Allied American Insurance Agency), 7 years with AMS/Vertafore and 5 years as an
independent consultant.
As mentioned, Larry was a Certified AMS360 Contract Trainer for 7 years and continues to keep up with all the changes
that AMS360 is putting on your desktop. You may have seen his name via the New England AMS Users Group
(http://neamsug.org/) for which he is very active and currently serves as the group Secretary.
Services Provided
Training of Account Reps, Sales People and Management on "regular daily processes". It is important to a new agency, or
new employee, to train on a regular and timely basis. Agencies should budget for ongoing training, coaching and system
updates to keep employees up-to-date and efficient for daily processing.
On-site agency visits
HANDS ON!!! The best way to learn is an on-site agency visit. One on one, or one with a team/department.
Web-based sessions
Web-based training is also an option and especially applicable for those little tune-up items that you just get stuck on.
