OSAAVA VESO: Tieto- ja viestintätekniikka pedagogisena työvälineenä. Raahe 2015
4. luento: tieto ja viestintätekniikan pedagogiset perusteet: nykyajan medialukutataito

mediakentästä ja tekijänoikeuksista

6. Muutos on väistämätön
What if we don’t adapt
”If students are prepared only for the
foundational literacies of book, paper, and
pencil technologies, they will be unprepared
for a future in which the new literacies are
required by new information and
communication technologies” (Karchmer et.
Al, p.1)
7. Digital literacy is a complex and
contested term
”Digital literacy is a complex and
contested term. It is often understood as
the ability to participate in a range of
critical and creative practises that
involve understanding, sharing and
creating meaning with different kinds of
technology and media” (2010:3)

14. Weblogs are popular journaling tools that
offer students a means of externalising
their reasoning and reflecting on their
experiences (Xie et al., 2008).
15. Dohn (2009) has stressed that Web 2.0 and/or educational practises must be
reshaped to fit each other, given that they originate in different contexts. From the
perspective of collaboration within Web 2.0 tools, who contributes is less important
than the fact that contributions are made and that they stand a chance of being
revised by adding, deleting or changing their components until the outcome
corresponds to group direction and consensus (Dohn, 2009).
16. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) offers novel ways to increase access to different
points of view by enabling various contributions to be aggregated, even though they
may have originated from diverse sources (e.g., blogs, file-sharing tools, and wikis)
(Crook, 2008; Lee, Miller, & Newnham, 2008)

contains three components: 1) collected data as ellipses, 2) dependencies
visualised as lines between nodes and 3) strength of each dependency as a
colour in the network. The darker the line, the stronger the statistical
dependency between the two variables and the more important (higher
ratio value) the dependency. Removing the dependency between

63. Sosiaalisen median
lukutaito
Kyky olla muiden kanssa eettisesti
vuorovaikutuksessa tavoilla jotka ovat
hyödyksi sekä itselle että toisille
Osaa kehittää strategisia liittoumia ja
kehitellä kiinnostavia käyttötapoja
yhteisöllisille työkaluille
On tietoinen vaaroista ja vastuista ja
ymmärtää mikä on hyväksyttyä käytöstä
netissä
Ymmärtää yksityisyydensuojan
merkityksen
66. Pohdittavaa ja reflektoitavaa
Pohdiskele suhdettasi netissä olevaan
informaatioon. Löydätkö seasta tietoa?
Mitä menetelmiä käytät?
Hyvä, paha netti? Miten suojella lapsia
vaaroilta?
Kerro mitä ovat avoimet tekijänoikeudet
ja miten sellaista sisältöä löytyy netistä?
Miten voit jakaa itse sellaista sisältöä?
