- -Many programs have been incorporated into schools to help children eat more healthily, exercise regularly and understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.-ADA American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association have launched campaigns to promote healthy lifestyles among kids and adults.-The American Heart Association posts tips and guidelines for healthier living on its website. The organization also runs a program called Start!, which helps people lose weight and live healthy lifestyles.-Labels list the daily value rates of the nutrients in the foods, which is an explanation of the amount of nutrients in a food based on public health experts' recommended daily intake of that nutrient.-The We Can! program offers activities and tips that help families increase their physical activity, eat healthfully and reduce inactivity.
