Following and being followed is a bit of a complex affair – expand
Talk about the technology – you can do this the heavy-fi way with cameras (good quality) or the low-fi way through web-compatable mobile phones like iphones. Setting up….problems with bandwidth etc
All of these methods are still relevant but these methods mean that users can create, share, generate and disseminate information in a way that is pretty effective. What you have to watch out for over informing and ‘spamming people – this can have the opposite effect and may mean that you de-communicate with people. Careful what you share. Good example – straightforward, interesting tweets about local issues and convivia news – bad tweeting absolutely everything you do like ‘we have just eaten…’ or ‘we are fed up’ these have a place in personal ‘status updates’ but when it comes to web 2.0 for the org maybe not!
