RECOMMENDATIONS WITH REFERENCE(S):
As a basketball player, Laurence, wants to get better and puts the individual work to make
4. himself into a high level player. He can block shots, rebound, score from the low post,
and knock down the 15-17 foot shot. Laurence was a big part of our program winning a
conference championship and competing at the NAIA national tournament in 2010. He knows
how to be a positive member of a team, works hard every day, and I know will continue to
grow as a player. Laurence has a genuine love for working with and leading with people. He
has a quality to interact with a diversity of people and bring out their strengths. Students at
our school responded well to his counsel, and gave him respect.“

“Laurence Donelson decided to keep improving his skills and conditioning by choosing to
train with Optimum Basketball and Elite Professional Basketball Trainer, Brandon Cochran.
He was put through a simulated NBA Training camp performing 2 and 3 workouts per day
for 2 weeks (10/26/11-11/09/11) with Sundays being his off day. The focus for Laurence
was simple- to make a more refined and polished player with an already highly athletic
and highly skilled player. Our goal for Laurence was to make him more explosive, increase
flexibility, and improve his footwork and skill level. Laurence is a very gifted athlete and has
the potential to be a dominant force for an NBA team in the next few years.”
