Joining Bring your student ID card to the counter and you will be asked to sign a form. You can then be issued with books or videos. You will need to show your ID card for borrowing and change of password.

Renewals Items can be renewed if they have not been reserved by someone else. You can renew in person, telephone or by e-mail [email_address] Always have your ID card with you when you are renewing items.

These booklets are available on a stand in the Learning Resource Centre. They contain details of journals, books and quick subject location and are available in the LRC as well as Internet sites and other useful information. Subject Bookmarks & Guides

Please Note: Monitoring software is in use on all Learning Centre computers! All computer activity is monitored by staff from a centralised viewing area. The computers are for course related use only. Please read the Internet/Computer User Policy on display in the Learning Centres. Computer usage

Internet and Computer Usage ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Offenders will be asked to leave the LRC Any student who does not comply with these policies will be asked to leave

Computers are networked to a laser printer in the LRC, and black/white & colour photocopiers in the corridor. A label on the PC informs you which printer your PC is connected to. Use the normal print routine from the software package you are working in. Students are given a £3 credit for initial use and will then need to see LRC staff for topping up. Please remember It may seem that there are many rules to follow but most of them are in place to ensure that the Learning Resource Centre is a pleasant and safe place to study.
