Leeanne Hibbert is creating a promotional video for a creative media course that will focus on proper filming techniques like lighting, focus, exposure, and composition. She plans to use mid shots that show students speaking with college equipment in the background to give insight into the lessons. Close ups of students will also be used to let audiences see their truthful opinions of the course through their expressions.

Considering I am creating a promotional video for the creative media course at Cheadle campus, I
need to focus on the filming situations and such as the shot quality so lighting; focus; depth of field;
colour balance and exposure. Plus getting the shot composition the exact way I want so things like
camera angles and framing look standard to my ability.
Camera angles:
Will be using mid shots, so that you can see the student speaking plus what is behind him/her (college
equipment so I’ll be using ICT rooms, so computers will be on view) and the desk which the student is
sat at so that the target audience can get an insight as to what the student is up to in that lesson.
I will also be using Close ups so that the audience of the promotional video will get to see the students
expression, this will let them see there truthful opinions on the creative media course.
