Mayor Daley's Book Club provides resources and guidelines for book clubs in Chicago Public Schools. The program offers six book titles to choose from with options to select alternatives. Clubs must register online and can order books to be delivered two at a time. Payment for facilitators is requested once a month up to seven meetings per year. The book clubs should have monthly facilitated discussions to foster student participation and leadership. A spring conference brings together club members from different schools.
