Note: VNC Free Edition Viewer is necessary to remote control the Sharp
MX-B401, MX-C311, MX-401, MX-2600, MX-3100, MX-4100, MX-4101, MX-5001

2. Log in to the Sharp Imager’s web interface home page by typing the IP
address of your imager using a web browser such as Internet Explorer.
Note: The IP address shown below is a common example only. Yours may be different.

7. Installing the VNC Viewer
If the VNC Viewer client is installed, skip to page 10 to initiate a remote control session.
You may download the Free VNC Viewer from: http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/download.html
Double-click the .exe icon
to begin the installation

10. Starting a remote control session
Double-click the VNC Viewer
icon on your desktop.
Enter the IP address of the Sharp copier to remote.
Note: After clicking OK, the following permission pop-up will be
displayed at the copier: Remote software requests connection. Allow
connection? A user at the Sharp copier must select OK to proceed.
