Web of Knowledge, citation indexes – range of subjects, you can use wildcards * for a range of results e.g. “Sparta*” [in topic] and Cartledge p* [in author] = @cam for Cambridge full text resources Also shows the number of times an article has been cited and this is useful for finding links to other articles of interest
Bibliographic records for articles in over 1,500 periodicals related to classics. Volumes 1 to 80 (2010) of the printed version - searching is in English. It is NOT FULL TEXT but there are links to the Cambridge database to check for full text. If you register as a user there is an alerting service. Also provides full titles for journal abbreviations. e.g. Search “Denyer n” – tick the author from the list for resutls. If you click through on the entry for “case against divination” and hover over the journal abbreviation you will see the full title. In advanced search it is possible to enter the abbreviation under title search to obtain the full journal title.
