MECANISME D’UN PIANO A QUEUE
                (1) touche

                (5) levier d'échappement

                (7) vis de répétition (ou vis de rechute)

PARTIE ACCOUSTIQUE : LES CORDES



Cordes et étouffoirs dans un piano à
              queue.
Les cordes aiguës (en acier) croisent
   les cordes graves (en cuivre).
LE CLAVIER
       Sur la photo ci-contre, nous pouvons voir
       l’intégralité d’un octave (du Ré au Ré).
       Les touches blanches sont appelées :
       notes non altérées
       Les touches noires sont appelées : notes
       altérées. Elles servent à jouer les dièses et
       les bémols.
       Les bémols se jouent vers la gauche et les
       dièses se jouent vers la droite.
       Ainsi, si l’on prend pour exemple la note
       Sol : la touche noire sur la droite sera un
       Sol dièse, celle vers la gauche un Sol
       Bémol.
       Un bémol est toujours le dièse de la note
       blanche à sa gauche, et inversement.
PEDALES DE PIANO




A gauche, la pédale douce : sur les pianos à queue, permet de déplacer le
clavier afin que seulement deux cordes sur trois soient frappées -> atténue le
son. Sur les pianos droits, rapproche les marteaux des cordes -> allège le
toucher et d’atténuer aussi le son.

A droite, la pédale forte : relève l’étouffoir et laisse les cordes vibrer ->
prolonge le son et augmenter sa résonance.

Au milieu, la pédale de soutien : sur les pianos à queue -> tient une ou
plusieurs notes déjà jouées. Sur les pianos droits -> sert de sourdine, atténue le
son des notes jouées.
