Teaching dance to children with disabilities
After the war, surplus Agent Orange
has caused many consequences,
especially for children. The children
born in families of sick soldiers, in the
areas affected by toxic substances,
almost had congenital deformities,
making their activities not take place
normally. So the activity "Teaching
dance to children with disabilities" are
designed to help students develop
better physically, mentally, create a
playful , warm atmosphere, helping
them to feel comfortable and better
integration with the community. A little girl with difficulties is
learning ballet.
3. Goals:
- Create a fun environment comfortable for
children to play, easy to do activities.
- Help them feel more open, more confident
in front of people.
- For children with disabilities to feel the
caring and sharing from people around.
4. Planning:
1. Choosing the appropriate location to organize activities.
2. Gathering children in groups of 8 to 10, including children with
disabilities, children and the person in charge.
3. Holding a small number of activities for children to get to know and to
be more open.
4. Teaching them the simple songs and dances, encouraging them to
help, together sing and dance.
5. Inviting the children to perform for all to see and together sing, dance
before the split.
