Faces Organic Mint offers a skin clarifying care
system with slightly anti-bacterial effect for oily and
impure skin. It is particularly young skin - mainly
during adolescence - that suffers from this
condition, but there are also many women who
have to contend with this problem until they are 50.
Oily and impure skin requires care, clarifying,
protection and balancing care components.
Why?
While other skin types produce too little oil, this
kind of problem skin produces too much.
Excessive sebum production favours the
development of impurities such as pimples and
blackheads. Due to poor circulation the complexion
often appears grey and sallow, the skin is often
thick. Enlarged pores and an oily sheen give the
skin an uneven appearance.
Oily and impure skin requires in addition to
moisture, above all, clarifying and support for
wound healing. Furthermore, a „matting“ effect is necessary to reduce the shiny
appearance of th skin. With the new

lavera Natural Cosmetics offers care and skin protection using only natural ingredients of
certified natural-cosmetic quality (BDIH), whenever possible of certified organic
cultivation.
The basis of lavera Faces facial care is effectiveness, naturalness and skin compatibility. To achieve
greater effectiveness with only natural ingredients, our research and development department has
designed plant-based fluids which are produced uniquely by laverana. The new ingredients are
created from a blend of selected oils and plant extracts. Combining the powers of these ingredients,
these fluids can focus better on the requirements of the skin. The special oil blend forms a protective
layer on the skin while extracts from rosemary, thyme and juniper which are known for their antiseptic
properties clarify the skin.
A total of five products, perfectly in tune with each other, support oily and impure skin, leaving
especially young skin looking beautiful throughout the year.
Until now all products, except the moisturizing fluid, have been almost „oil-free”. Although this type of
skin produces excessive oils, it also needs some mild oily care components. The new organic plant-
based fluid contains these care components and is therefore a perfect enrichment for the previous
formulation. Its further developed formula is even more compatible with the requirements of the skin.

The formulation has been tinted green with chlorophyll which gives it a particularly ingenious touch.
Due to the refraction of the light the complexion looks more matte, slight redness of the skin is
reduced, leaving it looking more even and radiant.
The 100% natural fragrance of Faces Mint consists of the fresh aroma of mint, rosemary and citrus
fruits. The scent is therefore fresh and spicy.
The basic principle of this care system is the use of only natural ingredients with a structure similar to
that of the skin. They penetrate the skin quickly and easily and are therefore highly skin compatible.
These natural ingredients also offer essential vitamins which have to be added, for example, to
conventional creams. The well-balanced formulations (percentages of water and fat) were especially
designed to meet the requirements of oily and impure skin.
All products contain refreshing and clarifying mint as well as rosemary and thyme, extracts from tea
tree, sage and marsh mallow which have antiseptic, disinfectant and soothing properties.
Cleansing Gel Organic Mint: oily skin responds well to more wash-active cleansing than
sensitive and delicate or combination skin. This cleansing gel cleanses the skin with its creamy
foam and mild coconut surfactants pore-deep and frees the skin of excessive sebum. Now the
skin is ready for all subsequent care products. Soothing ingredients from the marsh mallow root,
algae extracts as well as tea tree, mint and sage hydrolates soothe the skin and restore its
moisture balance. Natural chlorophyll provides antiseptic care, leaving the complexion looking
clearer and purer.
Toner Organic Mint: due to its antiseptic and disinfectant properties this facial tonic leaves the
skin looking noticeably clearer after cleansing. It contains natural chlorophyll which has a matting
effect. Tea tree essences and mineral zinc have anti-inflammatory properties. This is also the
case with extracts from the marsh mallow root and the willow bark, rosemary, mint, algae and
sage. Willow bark also regulates the production of skin oils.
Moisturizing Fluid Organic Mint: with its tea tree and sage
hydrolates the soft moisturizing fluid reduces impurities and
accelerates the healing of inflammatory processes. At the same time
herbal hydrolates, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid give the skin the
moisture it needs. A fruit acid-complex refines the pores and slightly
regulates excessive sebum production. Soy oil, lecithin and the new
plant-based fluids provide the skin with essential lipids, vitamin E and
C protect the cell membranes. Natural chlorophyll has a wonderful
matting effect and leaves the skin looking clearer and purer.
Women who tend to have impure skin should apply the
moisturizing fluid once a week over night to prevent impurities.

Exfoliant Mask Organic Mint: when included once or twice a week
in your cleansing routine, fine peeling beads remove dead skin cells
and minor impurities. These peeling beads consist of ground,
rounded peach and olive stones, algae particles and silicic minerals.
Tea tree hydrolate has an anti-inflammatory effect and clears the
skin, as do the new plant-based fluids and extracts from sage,
rosemary and willow bark. Willow bark extracts also regulate
excessive sebum production. This exfoliant mask contains healing
salt obtained from the Dead Sea. It can be used as a peeling for short
treatment or as a mask for more intensive treatment.
Women who tend to have impure skin should apply this exfoliant
mask for a clearer and long-lastingly beautiful complexion as
intensive treatment, either to their whole face or to the problem
areas every two weeks.
For young skin this mask should be applied as intensive treatment,
depending on the skin texture, once or twice a week.
Blemish Stick: this blemish stick is new in the care system for oily
and impure skin. Tea tree oil, which has proved to be highly effective,
and antiseptic peppermint oil disinfect and enhance the healing
process. For this blemish stick we have developed a special organic,
plant-based butter with a smooth and soft formula which fights
impurities and inflammation even more effectively. Beeswax,
candelilla wax, shea butter, shorea butter, juniper butter, thyme
butter, rosemary butter and mango stone butter cover the skin with
their beige colour and adapt perfectly to every skin type and tone.
