Wavelength Accuracy
     Wavelength Accuracy Standards
The accuracy of your instrument’s wavelength scale is crucial
when obtaining absorbance readings on your sample. A slight
change of less than 1nm can cause an instrument’s read-
ings to shift leading to incorrect data. This puts the laboratory
at risk of passing a product that should have failed quality
     control.

GFS Chemicals offers 3 different wave-
length reference filters that are used to
     validate the wavelength scale. These
materials will add confidence to your
     quality control process.

  • 7. Wavelength Accuracy Wavelength Accuracy Standards The accuracy of your instrument’s wavelength scale is crucial when obtaining absorbance readings on your sample. A slight change of less than 1nm can cause an instrument’s read- ings to shift leading to incorrect data. This puts the laboratory at risk of passing a product that should have failed quality control. GFS Chemicals offers 3 different wave- length reference filters that are used to validate the wavelength scale. These materials will add confidence to your quality control process.
