This document proposes creating a social enterprise called "A Bite of Hope" to address malnutrition in Haiti. It would partner with an energy bar company to produce and distribute low-cost meal replacement bars. The bars would be sold by Haitian women trained in business skills to generate income while also providing nutrition. Profits from bar sales in the US would fund the Haitian operations and empower women entrepreneurs as part of a sustainable solution.
