  • 5.  Eachgroup has been assigned one of these early settlers: Syed Omar Aljuneid  Alexander Guthrie  Gan Eng Seng  N. Veerasamy Naidu  Tan Tock Seng.   Discussin your groups what could have happened if these people were to choose not to contribute to the society. Use your C&S worksheet to help you.  Also write out the positive consequences of  contributing to the society based on what you know of your early settler.
