Websites are complex. There are so many things that are easily

2. 1. Favicon
A favicon brands the window or tab in which your website is open in the user’s
browser. It is saved with the bookmark so that users can easily identify pages from
your website.

3. 2. Meta Elements
Your page title and description are the most important elements for CTR. Make sure
they are unique on every page and relates to that page’s content.

4. 3. Test your
contact form
If you have a contact form, test it
and copy yourself so that you can
see what comes through.
6. 6. Sitemap
Adding a Sitemap (xml file) to your root directory allows the search engines to easily
index your website. The file points crawlers to all the pages on your website. You can
use a sitemap with metadata about specific types of content on your pages, including:

● Image
● Mobile content.
In the sitemap there is information of URL, Priority, Change Frequency and
LastChange

displayed.

You’ll want to configure your
website for optimal performance.
Use Google tool.
9. Mobile-Friendly
Test
Just when you think your design
looks great, pixel perfect, you
check it on mobile device and see
that everything is broken. Test it
before launching.

Back ups are the safest way to keep
working version of your website. Make a
back-up every week or so. If you use
WordPress, install some plugin and create
your first back-up of database.
10. 11. Social Media
It’s not once or twice we’ve seen nice social icons, but without links. Always check if
links point to your profiles.
