3. MY INITIAL IDEA
My initial idea is to put pictures which I have taken on canvas
such as landscapes, nature, buildings and portraits.

4. DEVELOPMENT
I want to develop my idea by having quite a few canvas pictures which I have
stretched instead of keeping it down to just one canvas picture, and I will have
different canvas sizes to have a variety. I will take photos and maybe even video
through some of the process of me stretching the canvas. To develop my idea
even more I am thinking of taking a picture and putting parts of it on separate
bits of canvas.

5. STRETCHING CANVAS
Above shows the process of how to actually stretch canvas, and this is what I am going
to do when I am at this stage. It looks quite complicated but I think once I have been
taught how to do it properly i will become familiar with the technique. The final piece
once it is stretched is shown on the right hand side.

6. EQUIPMENT
The equipment which I need to go through the process of stretching canvas are as
followed:
Canvas, Scissors, Stapler, frame, printer.

7. WHERE THE PROJECT IS NOW ?
The stage of the project which I am in is half way between still
taking pictures and stretching on to canvas. In total I would like
to have around 5 canvas pictures. I have already got some
pictures which I took earlier on in the year which I want to
stretch onto canvas. At this stage I am also finding places to take
pictures as well.

8. WHAT NEXT ?
After I have everything sorted out the next stage will be to add
more to the idea, for example, I have an idea to have around
five different canvas pictures and make it look like one big
canvas picture. I think that this idea will be quite hard to do, but
it is definitely possible to do.
