I am a highly motivated Visual Merchandiser with experience of managing a team of up to 5 in
a field based role. I am looking for new opportunities within the right company to inspire and
challenge me to take my career to the next level.

Senior Visual Merchandiser/International
Store Openings Team Member
Responsibility 1: Co-ordination of all the brand identities and integrities are maintained at all
times with use of the correct graphics, equipment, guidelines and training and monitoring of
shop floor retail staff.
Responsibility 2: Planning the installation of the store’s 12 windows, ensuring the Fashion
Accessories department is laid out to company guidelines and that Beauty promotions are
launched on time. Assisting on all fashion and home department moves and guideline layouts
where required.
Responsibility 3: Close liaison with management to translate weekly and daily tasks and to
prioritise key objectives e.g. window scheme installation, regular stock updates and launching
company promotions correctly on time and with correct use of all available POS.
Key Achievements
1. Managing the transition from working for one brand for over 15 years in a mobile role to
adapting to a department store environment and handling multiple departments and
brands.
2. Training and inspiring an inexperienced and demotivated team drawing on my
organisation, coaching and leadership skills to achieve standards fit for a premium store
incorporating 12 windows
3. Being hand selected as a member of the “International Store Openings Team” in September
2013 to work on the Abu Dhabi launch was an amazing experience, and came as a direct
result of raising our visual profile in Croydon.
EARLY CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
WALLIS 1995 – 2009
Regional Display Supervisor
Whilst working at Wallis I worked my way from regional visual assistant, to being part of the
“international “teamwhere I had the opportunity to work and train partners in Dubai and Abu
Dhabi. From this I was then offered the opportunity to progress to Area Visual Supervisor where I
was head of a team of 5 visual assistants.
 Personally responsible for the day to day dressing of 5 London flagship stores windows.
 Weekly picking of window stock guidelines to filter to the rest of the company.
 Regular time spent in Head Office to trial “New Schemes”, “Mannequins”, & “Concepts”.
 The set-up of press launches and seasonal scheme changes 4 times a year.
 Training of new team members.
 Collating and passing on of all information on a daily/weekly basis as required.
 Monitoring and maintaining the high level of standards required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Hounslow Borough College
Achieved DATEC Diploma in Display and Exhibition Design MERIT and A level Art
Barnhill Comprehensive
GCE/O levels in Art and English and CSEs in Maths, Sociology and History.
PERSONAL
I am keen to progress my career and take on more responsibility. I have proved that I have
energy and commitment in my career so far and am enthusiastic about expanding my skills. I
truly believe that I am an asset to any team and am ready for new career challenges.
Outside of a professional environment, I hold a keen interest in reading, fashion, movies and
travel. I keep fit through Zumba and Power Hoop. I hold a current, clean driving licence.
