eCommerce Models
Business to Business (B2B) refers to the full spectrum of e-commerce
that can occur between two organizations.
This includes purchasing and procurement, supplier management,
inventory management, channel management, sales activities,
payment management &service and support.

Business to Consumer (B2C) refers to exchanges between business
and consumers, activities tracked are consumer search, frequently
asked questions and service and support.

Consumer to Consumer or Peer to Peer (C2C) exchanges involve
transactions between and among consumers. These can include third
party involvement, as in the case of the auction website Ebay.

Consumer to Business (C2B) involves when consumers band together
to present themselves as a buyer in group.

8. G2C (Govern to Citizen)
eCommerce Models
Almost the same than B2C, but moves for administrative and
mandatory actions (monetary or just burocratics) to be token by the
consumer/citizen.
• In B2C the
transaction is made by the consumer by selecting a
product and paying for it.
• In G2C the transaction is made because of a mandatory rule. The
Citizen must pay for the good of a society .
