QUEENS OF ITALY,
stories and characters of women; from the
past, the history, examples for the present…
2008 - The Club of Monza has promoted and
supported the achievement of the cultural
project "QUEENS OF ITALY." The aim of this
initiative is the creation of a series of 'stories'
multimedia dedicated to four queens of the
medieval period “Teodolinda, Matilde di
Canossa, Costanza d'Altavilla, Eleonora
d’Arborea” with the ambition to outline the
respected personalities of these
queens, highlighting the political
relevance, and the ability of confrontation with
the powers of the world
(kings, princes, popes, emperors, etc..)

11. …the Contribution of Inner Wheel
in supporting
Social Cultural Projects, that “focus on education and language
knowlege as sustainable keys for a better life and organize
schoolwork supports for instance by young German scholars.
And they concentrate on programmes backing the families:
they organize get-togethers with mothers and their children, with
talks, excursions, cooking together etc. They learn the language
as well as the habits of the daily life in Europe – learning by
doing. The Inner Wheel friends give personal concern in
individual cases and accompany the integration process with
humanity” writes Hildegund Scheipermeier.
