The Lunar Initiatives are global workshops and strategies promoting Lunar and deep space exploration. With an aim to increase the public’s interest in space exploration, these seven initiatives are designed to aggregate and accelerate activities on Earth and in space in a number of distinct areas. The goal is to speed up the opening of the Lunar Frontier, enabling access to the Solar System and eventually the Universe. The Lunar Renaissance has begun! Check out lunarinitiatives.com.

2. “If you don’t like the news … Go out and make some of your own.” Scoop Nisker, KFOG Reporter C. 1982
“After four years of trying to establish the aerospace startup - Flexure Engineering - I didn’t like the news so I created : The Lunar Initiatives.
The Lunar Initiatives are an open source, collaborative framework to open up the Lunar Frontier for all Mankind.” Russell Cox, CEO Flexure Engineering
3. What is a LunarCube ?
The IBM PC was the first CubeSat.
It was a well designed empty box that could be be filled with your imagination, entrepreneurial chutzpah, or just plain good business sense.
The LunarCube Standard ( if and when it is developed ) will describe a well defined box based on iPhone class software and hardware suitable for deep space applications and aspirations.
