The 14th Annual KEA-REA Legislative Dinner honored educators. Joe Mangi accepted the Golden Apple Award. Tony Evers, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, spoke in support of public education and against vouchers. School board election winners Rebecca Stevens and Kyle Flood were also recognized at the event, which was attended by current and former politicians, educators, and community members.
