The research wing shall concentrate on the operational factors of finished goods so as to offer added value to our customers. Despite the benefit of strong markets, the previous year had been very challenging in operational terms with daily pressures in meeting the requirements of our customers and developing new projects within tight time lines and budgets. 6. he Architectural Metals division employs itself in the field of architectural metal fabrications involving various metals like steel, stainless steel, brass,Aluminium etc.Our projects team of interior designers, estimators, project managers and supervisors offer a complete design build and installation service. We can also work with your own design team, detailing to their specification. Innovative ideas and quality manufacturing supported by professional management combine to create bar and restaurant interiors that are both spectacular and commercially successful. Retail, office and residential work is becoming evermore important to us. Complete projects are built in our workshops prior to being dismantled and shipped to site for installation. 7. trust Trust trust Sub Divisions Sub divisions Field fabrication -When required, this division is responsible for the installation of our jobs. This division also provides "by the hour" on-site contract welding and fabrication. This division gets involved in many local ornamental iron and architectural steel projects. Fully supported by our in-house fabrication team the Field Fabricators allow us to offer complete drawing to finish project support. In house Fabrication-This division is responsible for the complete fabrication of all ornamental iron and architectural steel projects that enter the plant. With daily coordination with the Field Fabricators we always have a smooth transition between projects. General Machining - The machining division is responsible for machine shop functions such as complete machining on items suitable for our machine tools and subcontract machining for items too large for our equipment. They also provide pre-machining support for the fabrication divisions. Machinery Fabrication -This division's main responsibility is to provide fabrications that will be later machined in our machine shop. Most of these projects are sub-contract items that are a component of another manufacturer's equipment. We fabricate gear boxes, motor adaptors, machinery foundations, brackets and many other machinery parts. Trust Trust trust

All of SPD clients are contacted twice every year via various means including phone, fax and mail and are requested to complete a survey. The survey is related to their approval/disapproval of SPD terms. These survey reports form an integral report in SPD quality control documentation and is a key component of SPD,s QMS.The rich data captured from these surveys is used to highlight areas where we need to focus more attention, and drive our commitment to continuous improvement. In addition, every customer comment is reviewed by our customer facing account primes and operations leaders. Customer feedback about our performance, in areas such as Sales, Products, Service and Support, enables us to bring even greater value to all of our customers. Regular reports summarizing performance ratings and other attributes are prepared and communicated throughout the corporation, providing organizational alignment and process improvement opportunities. 10. ur Design facility is at the forefront of modern industry techniques, and is able to offer the complete service to the construction industry, from individual connections on consultant led projects to full design of the most complex structures on a ‘design and build’ basis.Our experienced, competent and highly motivated design team, many of whom are Chartered Engineers, delivers innovative design solutions for our clients and main contractors alike. This, coupled with significant investment in analysis, design and ‘3-Dimensional modelling’ packages, ensures the whole team has at its disposal the latest software. Together with extensive industry knowledge and continued training our highly skilled in-house engineers are able achieve the most efficient structural solutions. All design information is transferred via our Intranet and DMS (Document Management System ), to enable immediate access by our Drawing Office, who are able to import the information directly into ‘3-Dimensional’ CAD systems, providing immeasurable speed and accuracy. Our in house drawing office is equipped with the latest structural steel CAD draughting software .
