3. Company Profile
Genmech Engineering specialize in the design and build of Clean Air Solutions
System for Industrial HVAC and Exhaust. Our Engineered Solutions are :
Air Scrubbing - Contaminated solid and liquid particulate matter and gaseous
pollutants in the air stream are removed by Dry and Wet
Scrubbing.
Photolytic Oxidation - Hydrocarbon (Exp. H2S, Acetone, Mineral Based Oil Mist, etc)
molecule chain and Simple Aromatic Compounds (Exp.
Toluene, Benzene, etc) are break down by UV-C light, followed
UV-
by a Oxidization process with Ozone.
Oxidization of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Odour
from industrial process through “Ozonolysis” reaction with
Ozone.
Bi-
Bi-Polar Ionization - Bi-
Bi-Polar ions are used to coagulate Respirable Suspended
Particles, while Activated Oxygen are used to oxidize VOCs for
Indoor Air Purification Process.
GENMECH Engineering is ISO9001 accredited.
4. Industrial Corrosion
Problem :
Contaminated air can be drawn in
through HVAC system and cause
corrosion to equipments from Supply
Air Fan upstream to sensitive electronic
components downstream.
Integrated circuit chips, circuit boards,
relay switches, transformers, motor and
instrumentation systems are vulnerable
to corrosion.
Edge connectors, pins connectors, IC
plug-
plug-sockets, wire-wrap connections
wire-
and electrical system are especially
sensitive to corrosion.
5. Industrial Corrosion Control
Solution :
Photolytic Oxidation through UV-C light
UV-
with Ozone are used to oxidize the
pollutants.
Dry Scrubbing is utilize to polish the air
from residue pollutants.
Benefit :
Protect building facilities and electronic
components from premature failure.
Applicable Industries :
Wafer Plants, Foundries, Oil Refineries,
Commercial and Government Buildings,
etc.
Project Reference :
PETRONAS Refinery, Terengganu,
Malaysia.
6. Industrial Odour and VOCs
Problem :
Modern industrial chemicals such as
fuel, solvent, coatings and refrigerants
are usually VOCs.
VOCs tend to be organic chemicals in
gaseous state typically release during
the manufacturing process, through the
transfer of liquid and gases. Therefore, it
is more difficult to manage than Non-
Non-
Volatile Compounds.
Most VOCs are carcinogen to human, and
some, like Formaldehyde are also highly
odourous. Therefore treatment is
required prior to discharge.
7. Odour and VOCs Control
Solution :
Photolytic Oxidation through UV-C light
UV-
with Ozone to oxidize the VOCs and
Odour.
Odour.
Wet Scrubbing is utilize to dissolve or
absorb gaseous pollutants through air to
liquid contact into the liquid.
Dry Scrubbing with Activated Carbon to
polish air from residue pollutants.
Benefit :
Reduce emission to safe level as
required by statutory board.
Applicable Industries :
Abattoirs, Food Processing Plants,
Sewage Plants, Wafer Plants, etc.
Project Reference :
Australia Meat Holdings Rendering Plant
@ 52000 m3/hr, Dinmore, Australia.
Dinmore,
8. Industrial Oil Mist
Problem :
Machineries like turbines and turbo
compressors require constant
lubrication for the internal working
parts like bearings, gears and pistons.
This to provide cooling and prevent
engine wear.
As the equipment operates, these parts
become hot and the lubricating oil will
vaporize into atomized oil mist on
contact to the atmosphere.
• Exposure to mineral oil mist can cause
skin irritation, respiratory tract
irritation as well as central nervous
system effect in humans. In addition,
certain mineral oils are carcinogenic to
humans.
9. Oil Mist Control
Solution :
Mineral oil mist is collected through the principle of Coalescing effect.
Benefit :
Reduce Health Hazards from exposure to Oil Mist.
Applicable Industries :
Gas Compressor Stations, Hydrocarbon Processing, Machinery Compartments, etc.
Project Reference :
Motorola Plant, Singapore.
10. IAQ (Indoor Air Quality)
Problem :
Due to the large space within a building,
return air extraction points are
positioned far from source of
contamination.
This caused the contaminants to remain
stagnant within the building.
The ideal air purification system should
remove contamination at the source,
which the current AHU mounted passive
UV emitter system is unable to achieve.
The effectiveness in the removal of
particulates within the area should also
be taken into account.
11. IAQ Purification
Solution :
Bi-
Bi-polar oxidation system, produces Activated
Oxygen, which is an Oxidation Agent.
Activated Oxygen is carried to the
contamination source via air stream and
oxidize all contaminants in the area.
The system also release equal amount of
positive (+) and negative (-) ions, which will
(-
attached to Respirable Suspended Particles
(RSP).
The RSP will coagulate to form larger
particles, which will be easily capture by
mechanical filters at the AHU.
Benefit :
Real time protection with 6 parameters
feedback to reduce bacteria, viruses,
VOCs, odours and static charges .
Applicable Industries :
Airports, Exhibition Halls, Commercial
Buildings, Hospitals, Stadiums, etc.
Project Reference :
Marina Bay Sands Casino & Resort
World Sentosa Casino, Singapore.
