PPE produces a full range of products, including round, square and rectangular magnet wires in both copper and aluminum. PPE also produces Transposed Cables of up to 61 wires. History PPE History 1945 Pirelli started enameled wires production in Santo André (Brazil). 1948 Invex started enameled wires production in Quattordio (Italy). 1988 Pirelli Cavi becomes the major Invex shareholder. 2002 Pirelli sells its shareholding control in Invex to InvestitoriAssociati (Italy/China). 2004 Invex acquires the shareholding control of Pirelli ProdutosEspeciais and it’s trade name becomes PPE InvexProdutosPadronizados e EspeciaisLtda (Brazil). 2006 Invex sells its shareholding control in PPE Invex to RPV ParticipaçõesLtda (Brazil). 2007 RPV is incorporated PPE and trade name becomes PPE Fios Esmaltados S.A.
