14. Ezra 7:13‐17
13 Now I decree that any of the Israelites in my kingdom, including priests
and Levites, who volunteer to go to Jerusalem with you, may go. 14 You
are sent by the king and his seven advisers to inquire about Judah and
Jerusalem with regard to the Law of your God, which is in your
hand. 15 Moreover, you are to take with you the silver and gold that the
king and his advisers have freely given to the God of Israel, whose
dwelling is in Jerusalem, 16 together with all the silver and gold you may
obtain from the province of Babylon, as well as the freewill offerings of
the people and priests for the temple of their God in Jerusalem. 17 With
this money be sure to buy bulls, rams and male lambs, together with their
grain offerings and drink offerings, and sacrifice them on the altar of the
temple of your God in Jerusalem.

34. Matthew 18:15‐20
15“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between
the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if
they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter
may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ 17 If they
still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to
the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. 18 “Truly I
tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again, truly I tell
you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be
done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather
in my name, there am I with them.”

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be
quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because
human anger does not produce the righteousness that God
desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so
prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save
you.22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do
what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it
says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror24 and, after looking
at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But
whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and
continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they
will be blessed in what they do.
