We Salute You! Throughout the entire month of May, Mardi Gras Casino would like to recognize the
men and women in the Armed Forces who risk their lives every day to protect our freedom. On May 1st
we will begin collecting items needed by our soldiers for care packages. When guests come out to Mardi
Gras Casino they can donate four items on our list for the care packages and then receive $5 in bonus play
once per day, all month long. There is also a “Points for Postage” promotion where guests can donate
their Krewe Club points at the Players’ Club to the Treats for Soldiers organization who will pay for the
shipment of care packages. For every 100 points donated, one dollar will be pledged to Treats for
Soldiers, up to $5,000.
Mardi Gras Casino Honors Our Heroes by Saying Thank You
Mardi Gras Casino is also distributing blank postcards throughout the community for people to write
messages of support to our troops. The postcards have instructions on them to be filled out and dropped at
Mardi Gras Casino’s Players’ Club. In addition to postcards, Mardi Gras Casino is producing a video of
taped messages for the troops. On May 8th and 15th, we will record the interviews of interested parties
and assemble them into a video which will be screened at the Venue on Two on Thursday, May 31st at
4:00pm. DVD copies of the video will be placed into the care packages.
