This is the cover slide-deck that I used for 1 hour presentation for 200 young people in Egypt on topic of Effective Communication.
It's not edited for only online preview, so a lot of content is missing, but it is my first slide-deck in this style.
All included photos are from Flickr.com with Creative Commons attribution and share-alike license.
This is also free to share, please if you use the presentation, let me know and attribute :)

A summary
So let’s talk about the “core” of all communiation
I’ll talk to you about 3 coins as well, but more about that later…
What does effective mean in terms of communication? Taking inputs, engaging the audience. Simple 2 things:
It delivers the needed message. Be it information, call for action, expression of feeling…
And it build relationship – whether good or bad, it does build/influence it.
3 coins of communication:Always 2 sides involvedVerbal and non-verbalMutual responsibility
Let’s exercise a bit…
Simultaneous transmission and receiving on all channels is not effective
3 coins of communication:Always 2 sides involvedVerbal and non-verbalMutual responsibility
We actually are fluent in verbal communication for only couple of millennia, while non-verbally we communicate for much longer…
3 coins of communication:Always 2 sides involvedVerbal and non-verbalMutual responsibility
Listen with attention!
Follow the target
3 coins of communication:Always 2 sides involvedVerbal and non-verbalMutual responsibility
Expressing attention and comprehension of said through verbal channels
Helping the other side to deliver the message by paraphrasingHow would you paraphrase what I’ve just said? This is very important especially if you are in a new country and you are not fully aware of the local culture and understanding…
And summarizing
Let’s exercise a bit…
Keep visual contact with the counterpart…Other body-related ways of expressing attention?
Leaning towards the speaker, mirroring, moving towards the speaker
5 minutes
Let’s exercise a bit…
Speaking with intention!
Follow the target
Throw away the trash, keep focus…
Keeping the reason of communication in your mind…
