1. Preparation for Christmas
Before Christmas we make Christmas cards,
decorate Christmas tree in a classroom
and have Christmas treat together at school

3. Santa Claus

Santa Claus is coming to us on the 6 of
December and gives presents to those of us
who have been good and kind

4. Christmas Eve
The day before Christmas 24th of December is
called 'Wigilia'.
We wait for the first star in the sky to sit at the
Christmas Eve table with our family.
Before having Christmas Eve Supper we pray,
share a wafer and exchange wishes.
After supper we sing carols and open our
presents which are under the Christmas tree.

9. The Birth of Jesus Christ
On Christmas we remember that Jesus Christ
was born.
We go to church where there is a manger with
small Jesus lying in a crib and Saint Mary and
Josef standing and kneeling above him.
Adults attend midnight mass called 'pasterka'.
