2. Introduction I am goingtotalkabout Paris as a city. Its monuments Its Famous Museum A very visited place.

3. Paris as a city Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It’s situated on the river Seine in northern France. Paris is one of the most populated city in Europe. And a most popular tourists’ destination.

5. Eiffel Tower It was built in Paris from 1887 to 1889 by Gustave Eiffel. It originally had no use. It weighs 7,300 tones. It was the tallest building 300 meters high, until a 319 meter building was completed in New York

7. Arc de Triomphe Very well-known monument. It is situated in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle. It was built in honour of those who fought and died for France in the French revolution and in the Napoleonic Wars. ----------------------------->

9. Sacre Coeur The Sacre Coeur basilica was built at the end of the 19th century, at the top of Montmartre hill in Paris. It’s a holy place for Catholics.

10. Notre Dame It is a very important cathedral. It is one of the most beautiful place because of its architecture . It was built during the 13thand 14th centuries, at the time France was the most powerful kingdom in Europe. Notre Dame is one of the most important gothic places in Europe.

12. Paris most important museum:Le Louvre The edifice was built in 1190 It is the most important museum in France since 1789 after the French Revolution. Its glass pyramid was designed by the architect Pei. This amazing glass pyramid is the new entrance to the museum.

14. An Important Place Paris has one of the world’s most important tennis championships at the Stade Roland Garros.
