3. Add a form:
ADD CONTENT
Click on “cformsII” on
the menu
On the top gray bar
“Form Name:”
Change the name of
the form to “Contact
Us” or something
more appropriate for
your site.
On the form itself
Change the name of
“My Fieldset” to
“Please complete this
form” or something
you like better.
Open the “Admin
Actions” box on the
right and click on:
“Update Settings”
4. Next on the
ADD CONTENT
“cforms II” menu
click on “Styling”
Choose:
“minimal.css”
from the dropdown
menu at the top.
Click the “Select
Style” button.
5. Click on the “Pages”
ADD CONTENT
menu section and
click on “Add New”
Type Contact Us in
the “Title” area.
Type your contact
information in the
content area and a
paragraph about why
they should contact
you and/or what to
expect after
contacting you.
Click on the “cforms”
button (last one on
top right)
Choose “Contact Us”
and click on Insert.
6. Click the publish
ADD CONTENT
button on the
right side
Click on the “View
page” link on the
top of the page.
7. Next we need to
ADD CONTENT
add the page to
the menu.
Click on the
“Thesis” section of
the menu.
Click on the plus
to the right of
“Pages” in the
“Navigation” area.
Check the box
next to “Contact
us” or the name
you gave your
page.
Save the changes
8. Click over to the site
ADD CONTENT
tab and check your
contact page. Don’t
forget to refresh the
tab.
Test it by filling the
fields and submitting
the information.
For advanced user:
You can use css to
format a form for your
side bar:
9. Go back to the
ADD CONTENT
dashboard and
click on the
“Pages” section.
Edit the about
page by clicking
on the title.
Remove the
“canned”
information and
add your own.
Use formatting to
make the page
interesting.
When you are
finished click the
“Update” button.
10. Click over to the site
ADD CONTENT
tab and check your
about page. Don’t
forget to refresh the
tab.
Is the page compelling?
Does it entice you to
read more?
Does it talk about you
with a lot of “I” or is it
about your customers
and how your can
serve them?
