7. Minimum Earned Premium
• Some Policies in Some States have a Minimum
Earned Premium.
• If a State’s minimum earned premium is
$200.00 AND IF a Three (3) Month Policy
premium is $300.00, A policy canceled in
month 1 would be eligible for a refund of
$100.00. Why? Because the min. earned
premium was $200.00.

8. Minimum Earned Premium
• If a State’s minimum earned premium is
$200.00 & a Six (6) Month Policy premium is
$600.00, the policy canceled in months
3, 4, 5, and 6 would be eligible for a refund for
any un-earned premium.
• Careful- if the policy needs renewal for only 1
month, the minimum earned premium would
still be earned.

9. Minimum Earned Premium
• If a State’s minimum earned premium is
$200.00 & a Twelve (12) Month Policy
premium is $1,200.00, the policy canceled in
months 3-12 would be eligible for a refund for
any day’s un-earned premium.
• 12 month policy is best paid for by 2 months
down payment, and monthly EFT payments
