My science project on venus

• Venus is none as the earths sister because of it
same size and shape.

• Venus is 25 million miles away from earth.
That’s pretty far away.

• On Venus it is 900 degrees. Sun light gets in
and trapped by the clouds and atmosphere .

• Many mountains and volcanoes cover the
surface of Venus. Scientists predict that there
are up to 100,000 volcanoes.

• Venus is the second planet to the sun and our
closet neighbor.

• Venuses atmosphere has more acid per cubic
centimeter then a car battery.

8. 7.
• Astronomers think that when Venus was
younger it had water on its surface, but all the
water evaporated.

9. 8.
• Venus is one of the two planets without
moons.

10. 9.
• One day on Venus equals 224 days on earth.
That’s a long day.

11. 10.
• In 2013 N.A.S.A hopes to land a space shuttle
on Venus and take rock samples. Other
attempts have failed.
