12. So I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church. And the gates of the Hell can never overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.' Matt 16:18-19 Authority granted to the Church
15. Nicene Creed We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
16. Nicene Creed Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfilment of the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
17. Nicene Creed We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

22. ANNUNCIATION- LUKE 1 : 26-38 “ Greetings favoured one” “ Hail, Full of Grace” Luke 1: 28 To become the mother of the Savior, Mary "was enriched by God with gifts appropriate to such a role.” The angel Gabriel at the moment of the annunciation salutes her as "full of grace”. In fact, in order for Mary to be able to give the free assent of her faith to the announcement of her vocation, it was necessary that she be wholly borne by God's grace. - CCC 490
39. The Church (Magisterium) defines dogmas as:- “ Dogmas are truths contained in Divine Revelation or having a necessary connection with it and defined in a form obliging the Christian people to an irrevocable adherence of faith “ (CCC 88) DOGMAS ARE INFALLIBLE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH MADE EX-CATHEDRAL DOGMAS
43. PENITENTIAL RITE (1) I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do;
44. PENITENTIAL RITE (2) and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

54. ROSARY After the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917, the prayer Mary taught to the children has generally been added at the end of each decade: "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in greatest need of Thy mercy."
55. ROSARY Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, " The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description."
56. THE ANGELUS V. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary …... V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord, R. Be it done unto me according to Thy Word. Hail Mary….. V. And the Word was made flesh, R. And dwelt amongst us. Hail Mary...
57. V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. R. That we may be made worthy of the promise of Christ. Let us pray Pour forth , we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may, by His passion and cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen The angelus (2)
58. MEMORARE Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, That never was it know that anyone who fled to your protection. Implored your help or ought your intercession, Was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate. Despise not my petitions. But in your mercy hear and answer me, AMEN
59. CONCLUSION Heb. 13:7 - we must imitate the faith of our faithful leaders. We ask for their intercession and venerate them for their holiness.

70. This expression also refers to the communion between holy persons (sancti) ; that is, between those who by grace are united to the dead and risen Christ. Some are pilgrims on the earth ; others, having passed from this life, are undergoing purification and are helped also by our prayers. Others already enjoy the glory of God and intercede for us. All of these together form in Christ one family, the Church, to the praise and glory of the Trinity – CCC 961-962
71. For though we live in the world we are not carrying on a worldly war, for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 COR 10:4

-ANNUNCIATION – FULL OF GRACE ELIZABETH ACKNOWLEDGED- MOTHER OF MY LORD – Luke 1:43 ST.ANN’S CONCEPTION- CONCEIVED AND INSTANTLY FILLED WITH GRACE- SINLESS MUST BE SINLESS TO BEAR THE SON OF GOD WHO IS SINLESS- NO ORGINAL SIN- OTHERWISE JESUS WOULD HAVE BEEN WITH ORIGINAL SIN OF NOT POR THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF MARY WHAT IT IS NOT – NOT CONCEIVED BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT NOT CONCEPTION OF JESUS – VIRGIN BIRTH
490 To become the mother of the Savior, Mary "was enriched by God with gifts appropriate to such a role." 132 The angel Gabriel at the moment of the annunciation salutes her as "full of grace". 133 In fact, in order for Mary to be able to give the free assent of her faith to the announcement of her vocation, it was necessary that she be wholly borne by God's grace. 491 Through the centuries the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, "full of grace" through God, 134 was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854: The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin. 135

Mary - "ever-virgin" 499 The deepening of faith in the virginal motherhood led the Church to confess Mary's real and perpetual virginity even in the act of giving birth to the Son of God made man. 154 In fact, Christ's birth "did not diminish his mother's virginal integrity but sanctified it." 155 And so the liturgy of the Church celebrates Mary as Aeiparthenos , the "Ever-virgin". 156 500 Against this doctrine the objection is sometimes raised that the Bible mentions brothers and sisters of Jesus. 157 The Church has always understood these passages as not referring to other children of the Virgin Mary. In fact James and Joseph, "brothers of Jesus", are the sons of another Mary, a disciple of Christ, whom St. Matthew significantly calls "the other Mary". 158 They are close relations of Jesus, according to an Old Testament expression. 159 501 Jesus is Mary's only son, but her spiritual motherhood extends to all men whom indeed he came to save: "The Son whom she brought forth is he whom God placed as the first-born among many brethren, that is, the faithful in whose generation and formation she co-operates with a mother's love." 160
Second, the word for brother (or sister), adelphos ( adelpha ) in Greek, denotes a brother or sister, or near kinsman. Aramaic and other semitic languages could not distinguish between a blood brother or sister and a cousin, for example. Hence, John the Baptist, a cousin of Jesus (the son of Elizabeth, cousin of Mary) would be called "a brother ( adelphos ) of Jesus." In the plural, the word means a community based on identity of origin or life. Additionally, the word adelphos is used for (1) male children of the same parents (Mt 1:2); (2) male descendants of the same parents (Acts 7:23); (3) male children of the same mother (Gal 1:19); (4) people of the same nationality (Acts 3:17); (5) any man, a neighbor (Lk 10:29); (6) persons united by a common interest (Mt 5:47); (7) persons united by a common calling (Rev 22:9); (8) mankind (Mt 25:40); (9) the disciples (Mt 23:8); and (10) believers (Mt 23:8). (From Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words , Thomas Nelson, Publisher.)
IMITATE HER AS SHE HAS IMITATED HER SON. 1 Tim 2:1-2 - before "one mediator," Paul urges supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people. 1 Cor. 4:16-17 - the most important form of veneration of the saints is "imitating" the saints, as Paul commands us to do. Phil. 3:17 - Paul says to imitate him and others, which is the object of veneration. Veneration is not worship. Heb. 13:7 - we must imitate the faith of our faithful leaders. We ask for their intercession and venerate them for their holiness. Sir. 44:1-2 - we should praise and give honor to those who the Lord apportioned great glory. It is our family in Christ.
Tradition does hold that St. Dominic (d. 1221) devised the rosary as we know it. Moved by a vision of our Blessed Mother, he preached the use of the rosary in his missionary work among the Albigensians, a group of fanatical heretics. SOUTH OF FRANCE
The Angelus celebrates the mystery of the incarnation: the moment when Almighty God became a tiny human baby in the Virgin Mary’s womb. The prayer of the Angelus asks the Blessed Mother Mary to intercede with, or to help, God’s people on earth.
Not only did they all survive with (at most) relatively minor injuries, but they all lived well past that awful day with no radiation sickness, no loss of hearing, or any other visible long term defects or maladies. Naturally, they were interviewed and examined numerous times (Fr. Schiffer, a survivor, said over 200 times) by scientists and health care people about their remarkable experience and they say "we believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima. We lived and prayed the rosary daily in that home."
St. Paul speaks of all Christians as members of Christ, so that with Him, they form one Mystical Body (Cf. 1 Cor 12:12-31; Col 1:18; 2:18-20; Eph. 1:22-23; 3:19; 4:13). St. Paul did not use the word Mystical. It was developed more recently to bring out the fact that this union is unique, there is no parallel to it. It is not the same as the union of a physical body, nor that of a business corporation.
The Church, the Mystical Body, exists on this earth, and is called the Church militant, because its members struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil. The Church suffering means the souls in Purgatory. The Church triumphant is the Church in heaven. The unity and cooperation of the members of the Church on earth, in Purgatory, in Heaven is also called the Communion of Saints. When St. Paul uses the word "Saints" in opening an Epistle Ephesians 1:1, he does not mean they are morally perfect. He has in mind Hebrew qadosh , which means set aside for God, or coming under the covenant. Being such means of course they are called to moral perfection. But of course, not all have reached it in this world.
Armour of God – Eph 6: 10-17
for "the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" (James. 5:16) Luke 15:7,10 – if the angels and saints experience joy in heaven over our repentance, then they are still connected to us and are aware of our behavior
ST. ANTHONY – LOST NOTE BOOK ST JUDE – HOPELESS CASE
Heb. 13:7 - we must imitate the faith of our faithful leaders. We ask for their intercession and venerate them for their holiness. 1 Peter 2:17 - honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the emperor. Don't those living with Christ deserve honor? WHAT MORE TO IMITATE THEN MOTHER OF OUR LORD – MOTHER OF FAITH ! AND SAY LET IT BE WITH ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD !
