1. A selection of images taken in
our local town Leatherhead, which
we feel would suitably set the scene
of our ‘Teaser Trailer’.
2. This photo is of an alley way bordering between Leatherhead and
Ashtead, it runs along side of a motorway – which we could use
effectively to illustrate an urban noise and imagery. The graffiti on the
wall to the left also is effective when portraying a rebellious urban life
with stages of crime. The colour’s in this case all follow a particularly
autumnal theme, with the fiery sky complimenting the contrast of fallen
leaves and colourful graffiti portraying a youthful lifestyle.
3. This photo accompanies the previous image, although this time we did a
dummy possible shot which could be used in our film, to get a general
idea on how it would work. We all think this angle works effectively with
the youthful colourful graffiti to the left edging in towards a shifty figure
appearing to be keeping unrecognisable and threatening. With a flowing
dark alley enhancing any suspense with what could be in the dark.
4. This photo is of the motorway bridge itself, lit up by one single light in
the dark evening hours, the cold air allowed the heat steam off the light
to be visible, enhancing a creepy ‘Fear of the unknown’ idea to play with
the audiences mind. The arching trees along with the fenced pathway
also give you the potential for a very professional layout of the shot.
5. This photo is of the stairs leading up to the motorway bridge, again an
ideal layout for a shot, with an arching of trees blocking out the majority
of moon light but continuing with an autumnal orangey black theme.
This is an ideal shot to either show power of a group of characters
running down, with the height advantage OR a vulnerability shot, of a
lonely character open to the threat in the isolated dark streets.
6. This photo is over looking the one way system in Leatherhead from a
high view point, a perfect shot for establishing an area, particularly the
hustle and bustle of street life portrayed in the teaser trailer.
Consistently following the glaring orange street light with the dark sky's
and frosted greenery, enhancing a cold hearted street life vulnerability.
7. This photo is situated on the outskirts of the town centre in
Leatherhead, we think that this shot would be another suitable
shot to help illustrate power with the dark night sky in the back
ground indicating vulnerability and other fears the night time
brings with it.
8. This photo is of a fairly wide but very isolated alley way in Leatherhead
town, the unusual size of the alley way will allow us to position
characters and camera angles and shots with space and efficiency.
Obviously the alley way also illustrates again isolation and vulnerability
to weaker characters, or even a secretive place well located for criminal
activity.
9. This photo is the same
alley way as the previous
slide but this time looking
down, to either change
any power issues
between characters or
even work with the
lighting issues differently
to portray a different
theme within the shot,
whether it be positive or
negative.
10. This photo is taken from the top end of the alley way, we agreed that
this would be a suitable angle and shot if we were to involve any cars
speeding off or even a drug deal in the corner. On the left hand side of
the image, we purposely incorporated a section of the battered fencing
with the graffiti on to emphasise criminal activity and an urban life style.
11. This photo is of another alley
way not far from the one
before, it is much thinner and
darker with an easily accessible
raised surface to the left useful
if we were to do any birds eye
shots of a situation. It also had
a load of rubbish set up on the
left, untidily left emphasising a
rough urban life, in which is key
in portraying within our ‘Teaser
Trailer’.
