2. Today the Italian cuisine is the most connected cuisine
of all with the tomato. But the tomatoes didn’t come
from Italy. They actually come from the west part of
South America. The first tomatoes probably were as
big as cherry but with the different sort of tomatoes
they are became bigger as we know them now. Tomato
on French is „pomme d'amour” which means’ ,,love
apple’’ because of the form of heart. In 16centuy they
became a food source in Europe.

3. The American colonist believed that tomatoes are
poisonous when Robert Gibbon Johnson stood on
the steps of the court of justice in New Jercey and eat
one tomato proving that it isn’t poisonous.

4.  The cucummber is one of the oldest vegetables that are
known on the Globe. It comes from Indo-China,
where is grown 3000 years ago.
The cucumber attend in the Guiness Book of Records as
the longest cucumber in the world grown in Hungary
with length 1.83m and weight 6kg.

5.  The carrot is orange in collor in spite in they exist in
purple, red, white and yellow. They come from Iran
and Afghanistan. At first they were grown because of
their leaves and seeds, not because of the roots.
