๏‚ž Similarly, sender speaks and receiver
  listens.
๏‚ž Speaking and Listening activities
  complement each other.
๏‚ž In many situations in our personal,
  professional or academic life.
๏‚ž   Effective performance depending upon our
    conversational ability.

๏‚ž   Audience view , reaction and response
    encourage or discourage us.

๏‚ž   Although in face to face conversations we
    can use our body language more effectively
    then in telephonic conversations.

๏‚ž   The same basic strategies for effectiveness
    apply for both three types.
๏‚ž Good conversational skills help us in both
  professional and social conversations.
๏‚ž Everybody talk in a friendly environment.
๏‚ž None of the professional talks, those of
  the teachers, the lawyers, the public
  speaker, the actor, the debater, may be
  considered as conversations per se.
๏‚ž Example :- it is break time at a
  conference.
๏‚ž You spot some participants with whom
  you would like to build a relationship.

  common events over experience with

  greeting word.

Involving Everyone:

  family, friends and colleagues over the

๏‚ž We can get information about any
  place, product or people across the
  world by the use of telephone.
๏‚ž Now in the telephonic conversation, the
  two parties can not see each others
  facial expression and other aspects of
  body language.
๏‚ž   While talking on the phone we have to use
    polite expressions such as โ€˜how can may I
    help you?',' may I speak to Mr.โ€ฆ?โ€™

๏‚ž   There are few things to be careful while
    telephonic conversation.
    โ€บ Do not shout.
    โ€บ Do not use slangs.
    โ€บ Do not interrupt the caller when he/she is
      speaking.

      organization.


๏‚ž   In the mall/in a park/at a restaurant

    โ€บ In this type of conversation it would be
      discussed by the family members or group
      of friends etc.
๏‚ž   Out side the exam center

    โ€บ This is the best conversation among the all
     conversation practice of conversation that
     we have discussed above.

    โ€บ It is an informal conversation and it is used
     between the class mates and between
     students and their parents.
๏‚ž   Several occasions or situations that
    require us to speak to another person for
    getting or giving information.

๏‚ž   Dialogues spoken on such occasions are
    called situational dialogues.
