This lesson plan outlines teaching kindergarteners about the life cycle of a butterfly. It begins with the teacher motivating students by singing a song about butterflies and asking guessing questions. The teacher will then read a story that describes each stage of the butterfly's life cycle from egg to caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly. Students will arrange pictures of the life cycle in order and answer comprehension questions. They will also act out sentences from the story. The lesson aims to teach students about the different stages and that all living things, including humans, go through life cycles where they eat, grow, and sleep.

of a butterfly.
(The teacher will check the work of the learners if it is correct.)
Generalization:
What is the life cycle of a butterfly?
What comes first?
3. PRACTICE ACTVITIES/APPLICATION
The teacher presents sentences taken from the story. Then they will act each
sentences or dramatize.
Ask:
What does mother butterfly do on a leaf? (lays)
How many butterfly are being talked about?
Who eats leaves? How many is being talked about?
What comes out from the chrysalis?
4. How many butterflies talked about?
(Chart the pupils answer)
Talked about How many? Action

Egg 1 hatches
Caterpillar 1 eats
Butterfly 1 comes
IV. EVALUATION: Draw a life cycle of the butterfly and color it well.
