8. Action builds through repetition. There is an exciting climax at the end. Goodness and intelligence win out over evil and foolishness.

9. Trickster Tales end with a moral or a lesson. “If a person is clever, it is because someone has taught them their cleverness.”

10. Setting takes place in the distant past or a timeless place. desert jungle forest

11. There is usually a problem and a solution to the problem. "Coyote takes water from the Frog people... because it is not right that one people have all the water."

12. Told from a 3rd person point of view.
