ADVANCEMENT EXAM READINESS REVIEW SCHEDULE RELEASED
NAVADMIN 155/13 announced additional dates for the Advancement Exam Readiness Review. NETC is
seeking nominations for Subject Matter Experts (SME) that meet the following criteria: Chief, Senior Chief,
and Master Chief Petty Officers on active duty, full time support (FTS), and reservists on active duty for
special work (ADSW) who do not have any relatives eligible for advancement in the rating for which they are
applying. They need at least an MP on the last three years of Chief evals; are within BCA and PFA
requirements; don’t have a Fleet Reserve, Retirement, or HYT date within one year of AERR adjourning. And
no financial problems. If selected for the AERR, attendance is not optional. The following are AERR dates by
rating: CS: 07 JUL - 13 JUL; MME, SH: 14 JUL - 20 JUL; EM, STG: 21 JUL - 27 JUL; AS, PR: 28 JUL - 03

NAVADMIN 152/13 outlines the training requirements for command triad members with regard to same-sex
domestic partners benefits. The training is required for all active and reserve commanding officers, executive
officers, and senior enlisted leaders and must be completed by 23 August 2013. Training can be completed
in NKO and the course name and number are “Extending Benefits to Same-Sex Domestic Partners of Military
Members,” DON-EBSSDPMM-1.0. Upon completion of the training FLTMPS will automatically document the
training. Further training for Chaplain Corps and other entities will be listed SEPCOR. All personnel may take
the course if they are interested in learning more about Same-Sex Domestic Partners Benefits. Point of

SAME SEX DOMESTIC PARTNER BENEFITS TRAINING
NPC CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER REMINDER
When calling into Navy Personnel Command's Customer Service Center, social security numbers are needed
to access Privacy Act service records and assist Sailors with an issue. Requesting SSN’s from callers is
allowed under Executive Order 9397. See DOD Instruction 1000.30 for further explanation. Advise your
Sailors that while giving social security numbers to call center agents is voluntary, if they're unwilling to
provide it, NPC may be unable to assist. The Customer Service Center is at 1-866-827-5672.
