How can Web 2.0 improve our classrooms?
It can provide a new way of implementing reading  writing and creating to prepare students for the 21 st  century workplace.
You may be asking….. What is Web 2.0?
The answer……. “ The term “Web 2.0” (2004-present) is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability, user centered design, and collaboration, on the World Wide Web.”(source-wikipedia) In novice terms…. A way for students to collaborate and communicate with other students that are miles away.

“ If students are to be productive members of the 21st Century workplace, they must move beyond the skills of the 20th Century and master those of the 21st Century.”
“ The characteristics of the 21st Century classroom will be very different from those of in the classrooms of the past because the focus is on producing students who  are highly productive ,  effective communicators ,  inventive thinkers ,  and  masters of technology ” Commitment to the role of the teacher as a facilitator of learning.
