  5. Spanning structural boundaries, establish broad networks across existing hierarchy and work them directly, making opportunistic use of meetings. Making transitions , use transitions as opportunities to learn new skills, look for alternatives/ role models, tend to dive in and enter quickly, stay focussed on needs being served, facilitate major change through lots of communication, set new expectations, and build trust.
