2. Welcome back to chapter forty-four of The Cooke Legacy! This
chapter is written by Haleigh/meadowthayer.
In the last chapter you saw our heir, Robinson, and his siblings
graduate college and then you saw how Ryder’s and Rosie’s lives
turned out.
In this chapter, we will see Robinson and Carmen live out their life
together.
3. Hi everyone! So, as Haleigh has already filled
you guys in, I’m now living back home with my
Mom’s, Marisa and Quinn. I’m really excited to
live out my life with Carmen.
4. In fact, I am so excited that I didn’t want to waste anytime in inviting my
fiancé over to move in with me.
Carmen told me after she moved in that she was a popularity sim with a
secondary aspiration of fortune! We both have the same secondary
aspirations, so that should definitely help keep us out of financial fights. It
helps that my family is quite rich as well.
5. The very next morning, Carmen and
I got married outside of the family
home. I am so thrilled to be able to
call Carmen my wife!
Immediately following the
ceremony, we decided to have a
special little celebration…
7. Don’t worry, we eventually got around to
sharing our first woohoo together ;)
8. Alright guys, so here’s the deal. After their first woohoo I heard the
lullaby but then after a few sim days she hadn’t got her bump, so I
tried moving her out of the lot and onto another one since that
typically fixes it, but that didn’t. Then, I happened to notice that
her age bar didn’t look like it was any fuller than when she first
moved in, and sure enough it wasn’t. In fact, nobody in the house
was aging! At first, I thought this was just a glitch in the whole
game, but then I loaded another family and they aged just fine.
After waiting a month for a response on how to fix it, I finally gave
up and decided to just extract Carmen and Robinson with SimPE
and remake them.
That being said, there will be no more Quinn and Marisa, and
Robinson and Carmen will be starting over, sort of like founders.
9. Also, due to having to remake them in CAS they don’t have exactly
the same personalities because of the limited amount of points in
CAS and their lifetime wants are different.
Robinson’s new personality is 2/8/5/5/5 which is as close to his
original as I could get. And his lifetime want is to become a
celebrity chef.
Carmen’s new personality is 2/8/9/3/3 and her lifetime want is to
become mayor.
Unfortunately, they have no skill points and no college education.
I will not be giving them any money either, they’ll be stuck with the
$25,000 they got from CAS. (I guess since it was two of them they
got an extra 5k? Idk, but that’s what they had.)
10. This is the new house that Carmen and I will be
living in. It’s not much, but it’s enough for
now.
Luckily, we were both able to find our dream
jobs by Tuesday!
11. After less than a week of living in our new
home, Carmen and I decided that we were
financially stable enough to try to have our first
child.
12. In fact, we were so stable that we finally had a
second floor built on to our home.
13. It wasn’t long before Carmen began showing the signs of her first
pregnancy. I was so happy for my wife, and for myself of course. I just
wished my Mom’s were here to help us out because neither of us had any
idea what to expect.
14. Soon though, Carmen was going into labor and
all of the pain and nausea would soon be worth
it.
15. Turns out the reward was twice as good as we thought it would be! That’s
right, Carmen and I are the proud parents to twins!
We had a baby girl named Savannah who has my red hair and dark skin but
her Mommy’s brown eyes.
And a baby boy named Shane who has my red hair but has his Mom’s
brown eyes and lighter skintone.
16. The twins were very well behaved and hardly
ever cried, so time flew by so quickly and it was
already time for them to become toddlers!
17. The twins grew up wonderfully as
you can see and they both look a lot
like me! If it weren’t for the eye
color, I’d think Savannah was my
clone!
18. It wasn’t long before Carmen and I
found out that we were expecting our
third child. We both of course were
ecstatic.
19. But before we could meet our newest
little one, it was time for our twins to
become children. They really grow
up way too fast!
20. A few short hours after the twins birthday, Carmen was going into labor
again. This time we welcomed another son. We named him Spencer. He
looks a lot like his Mom with the blonde hair and same skintone.
21. Taking care of Spencer as an infant
was much easier than the twins, but
I can only hope he’ll be an easier
toddler as well.
22. Spencer was definitely a Mommy’s boy, and
even though Carmen hadn’t been feeling very
well lately, she made sure to give Spencer as
much attention as she possibly could.
23. It turns out the reason Carmen wasn’t feeling
well was she was pregnant again! This is going
to be our last baby!
*Her pregnancy glitched, she got pregnant the day
Spencer aged up but I had to move her out then back
in, in order for her to start showing.
24. I can’t believe that it’s already time for my youngest son to grow up. It
seems like just yesterday I was changing his diaper and helping him walk.
25. The next evening, Carmen went into
labor in the front yard with our last
child. She gave birth to a baby girl
named Sabrina that has a good mix
of both of our genetics. I am very
happy with my little family.
*Her pregnancy glitched a second time,
and I had to move her back out and in
again. That’s why it took so long for
Sabrina to enter the world.
27. Now that my family has been able to keep their
moods up pretty high, my two oldest children
have been spending their time working on their
skills together.
28. Time for the twins to become teenagers already? Oh no, it can’t be true. I
can’t believe my oldest children are old enough to be in high school!
Savannah chose a primary aspiration of knowledge and a secondary
aspiration of family.
Shane chose a primary aspiration of family and a secondary aspiration of
romance. It’s a good thing he’s so handsome, he’ll definitely have no
problem with the ladies.
29. Their primary aspirations definitely
shine through. Shane enjoys helping
me and his mother out with Sabrina.
Where as Savannah prefers to work
on her flower arranging badge.
30. Soon it was time for my youngest child to be a toddler. I’m really sad that
my babies have grown up so fast. Before you know it, I’m going to have to
stock up on some pepper spray and some ammo for my shotgun.
31. By child number four, we have taking care of
our children down to a science. I’ll admit
though, I do wish my Mom’s were here to help.
They’d love their grandbabies.
32. My oldest children keep making me proud, as
soon as they get home from school they go
straight upstairs and work on their homework
together.
33. Since Spencer doesn’t really have any siblings
his age to play with, he wanted me to buy him
an easel so he could paint with me. He and I
are quickly becoming best friends.
34. Carmen has finally become the Mayor! I am so
happy for her! She told me that now, she was
to follow my dream too and become a celebrity
chef.
35. The next evening, I also reached the top of my
career. Next, I want to become a World Class
Ballet Dancer. I know it sounds strange, but I
just think it would be a lot of fun.
36. After I took a quick shower, we all went downstairs to celebrate Sabrina’s
child birthday! She aged wonderfully, I think she looks a lot like her Mom.
37. I just realized you guys haven’t seen what our house looks like! Well, here is
a quick front and back view of the house.
38. And a quick peek at the floor plans
for each floor of the house. As well
as a close-up of Creator Haleigh’s
favorite place in the house – the
entry way!
39. I feel bad for Savannah and Shane, they both
woke up this morning with a bad acne break
out. Luckily, I knew of the perfect acne cream
since I suffered from acne as a teenager as well.
40. “Hi Mister Headmaster, I’m Sabrina. My
favorite class is geography. Do you guys teach
that at your school?”
“Why of course Miss Sabrina. It’s my favorite
as well.”
41. I am very pleased that all four of my children
were accepted into the very private school that
my family has been attending for generations!
42. After the headmaster left, it was time
for us to celebrate my youngest son’s
birthday.
That’s right, Spencer is becoming a
teenager!
Spencer decided to be a primary
fortune aspiration and a secondary
knowledge aspiration. He has a good
head on his shoulders so I’m sure
he’ll live a fantastic life.
43. Shane is a very good big brother and he often
helps out Sabrina with her homework.
44. Oh my, it’s already time for Carmen and I to become elders. I guess we’re
not as young as we used to be anymore. But, that’s alright, our children are
almost completely grown and soon we’ll hear the pitter-patter of our
grandbabies feet.
45. I think that my wife is more beautiful than ever
now that she’s an elder. And I’m not too bad
looking either.
46. My children aren’t the only ones working on
their skills, I’m working on some for my
promotions and I want to be a good influence
on them. It helps now that Carmen got high
enough in the education career to get us the
special bookcase.
47. Birthday time has arrived for my youngest child. Carmen and I officially
have four teenaged children. But, Sabrina aged beautifully. She looks the
most like her mother. I’m a little concerned about her choice of primary
aspiration though – she picked romance! Her secondary choice was
fortune. I hope she knows money and how many relationships you have
isn’t what truly matters in life.
So, I didn’t want to have to change Sabrina’s hair because I really liked her other
hair, but for some reason the mesh for her toddler/child hair broke for my teens-elders
so I had to change it. However, Katie if you have it feel free to change it back.
48. And with that, my family is complete. I am
very happy with my small little family and I
can’t wait until I can meet my future
grandbabies!
Head on to the next slides for your choices for heir/ess.
53. I apologize for the lack of pictures, the family kept getting the flu
and so it was making it very hard to keep their moods up. Plus for
some reason every time they would go to work or school their
energy bar would practically go completely red even if it was
completely full when they left.
Also, I wanted to thank you for being patient with me throughout
the problems that the game caused me. I wish I hadn’t had to
recreate Robinson and Carmen, but at least their lives turned out
good.
Anyway, don’t forget to head over to SiMania to vote for your
favorite child, and stay tuned to see where Katie takes the family
next!
