Haleigh takes over the Dexter family legacy from Katie. She builds the family a new home and gives them money since they arrived with nothing. The triplets all meet partners in college and drop out to get married. Ariel graduates and moves back in with her parents. She later marries Colin and they have a daughter, Alice. Ariel then has twin girls, Ashley and Mary-Kate. The family ages up through the generations with the kids excelling in school and careers. Haleigh's chapter ends with the death of Mars and the twins becoming teenagers, leaving the choice of new heir between Alice, Ashley and Mary-Kate.

Chapter 4

2. Welcome back to the SiMania joint duelacy!
This chapter is part of Dexter’s side and will be
written by Haleigh (meadowthayer).
As you see to the left, I have built the family their
temporary home since they get a new home every
time they go to a new simmer’s computer. It’s
pretty bare on the inside still because I just gave
it the basics and will add to it as I play.
I also had to motherlode twice since the family
lost all their money when they came to my game.
So I just gave them what they’d need.
Upon moving into their new home, the
family sat down and enjoyed a quick
breakfast.
As you can see, they all look pretty much
identical to how they looked in Katie’s
game.
After breakfast, Eric headed off to work
and the kids all applied for scholarships
and were sent off to college.

3. Ariel was the only girl born to Mars and Eric,
and she’s also our heiress!

4. Phillip was the second born of the triplets.

5. Sebastian is the youngest of the triplets, and
the youngest of the kids eligible to be heir.

6. Hubert is the half-brother of the triplets and
the result of Eric’s alien abduction. Hubert was
not eligible for heir.

7. Phillip was quite the womanizer when he was young, so it was no surprise when he was
the first one to meet someone in college. He shared a kiss with Robin Seifert the very
first day he was on campus. What was a surprise to everyone however, was the fact that
he proposed to her right after they fell in love. Nobody ever thought that Phillip would
settle down with someone.
After getting engaged, Phillip dropped out of college* to wait in the SimBin for his life to
begin.
*I absolutely hate playing college. Thus, as the spares fall in love they’ll be dropping
out. I will only be playing Ariel through college.

8. Sebastian was the second one to find love. And he found it with a young
lady named Elle Andrews. Which, as you can see one of the other dormies
seemed a bit jealous of.

9. And then Hubert fell in love with Nikki Love – a beautiful blonde dormie
that had claimed the room right next to Hubert. Nikki was also Hubert’s
very first kiss.

10. With that, Ariel decided it was time to move out of the dorm and find her
own little house where she would spend her college life.
Her brothers left her their scholarship money and she was able to buy this
cute little house that I built for one of my sims from one of my own legacies.

11. The first thing that Ariel did upon moving into
her new home, was declare a major. Since her
LTW was to become Rock God, she declared a
major in literature since that helped her career
path.

12. Ariel didn’t have very many skill
points when I got her, so she spends
a lot of her free time working on her
skills. Whether it’s reading a book,
swimming, or painting, she’s usually
quite happy to oblige since she’s got
a secondary aspiration of Knowledge.

13. She got quite good at painting, and was able to
paint a picture of herself painting a picture of
herself.
But despite her success in painting, she felt
quite lonely eating dinner by herself.

14. Ariel finally got the nerve to call up this boy in
her class that she had a crush on.
His name was Colin Copur, and Ariel got her
very first kiss from him that night.

15. Ariel has finally finished her freshman year of
college.

16. Ariel decided that it was time that she got a
change of hairstyle. Her hair was too long and
it constantly got in her way. So she got it cut
and bought herself a flat iron.
*To be honest, I think she looks more like a romance
sim with this hair.

17. Colin must have thought she looks sexier with
this hair as well, because when he came over
that night they ended up sharing their first
woohoo together.

18. That gave Ariel a bit of a confidence boost, and being the romance sim that
she is she ended up flirting with her college professor, which led to them
doing more than just flirting.
She ended up not having to do any school work for the semester.

19. For some reason though, Ariel couldn’t get Colin out of the back of her
mind. Maybe it was because they were both knowledge sims, or maybe she
really loved him. Either way, she decided that she would invite him over for
some woohoo again.
After their woohoo, they both fell asleep and Ariel woke up first and after
showering realized, she really did care about Colin and proposed to him as
soon as he got out of bed.

20. Success! Ariel is now a junior! Halfway there!

21. Ariel’s Junior year was very uneventful, and she spent most of it studying
her skills, so on her first day of being a senior she came home and maxed
out all of her skills!

22. With all of her skill points being maxed out, Ariel worked on getting her
gold flower arranging badge during her senior year.

23. Ariel is now a college graduate! She walked outside before I could get a
picture of her in her cap and gown, and changed into her outerwear, but
nevertheless meet Academie Le Tour’s newest graduate!
Now, lets head back to the main town and see how her brothers’ lives turned
out.

24. Phillip and Robin moved into a
small, but roomy, home in the same
neighborhood as his parents.
They had twin daughters, Blossom
and Bubbles. (Powerpuff Girls)
*The theme for this joint legacy is ‘favorites,’ and
I have decided to do my turn after favorite things
from my childhood.
**Powerpuff Girls was one of my favorite
cartoons when I was young.

25. Sebastian and Elle moved into a nice
yellow home.
They only had one child – a son
named Shaggy. (Scooby Doo)
*Scooby Doo was one of my favorite cartoons
when I was little.

26. Hubert and Nikki moved into a small
gray home down the street from
Hubert’s father and step-mother.
They had triplets – Daphne, Fred,
and Velma. (Scooby Doo)
*Scooby Doo was one of my favorite cartoons
when I was little. Daphne was always my
favorite character.

27. Ariel has moved back in with her parents, Mars
and Eric. And as you can see, she makes a
gorgeous adult!

28. The first thing she did after changing her clothes was invite her fiance Colin
over so that he could move in, and boy is he handsome after his make-over.

29. Ariel and Colin had a beautiful
nighttime wedding on the back patio
of the family home.
After the vows were said and they
shared their first kiss as husband and
wife, they shared their first woohoo
as newlyweds.

30. It wasn’t long before Ariel found out she was expecting her first child. She
was very nervous about it, and wasn’t sure whether she was excited or
dreading being a mother, she is a romance sim afterall.

31. After arriving home from work one evening, it was time for Eric’s elder
birthday. He doesn’t seem to be too thrilled about it though does he?
Either that, or he’s TOO excited since he fell asleep in his cake.

32. After cleaning up though, Eric makes a
fantastic elder.

33. At 1am one evening, Ariel began having labor pains. After many hours of
screaming and pushing, she welcomed a healthy baby girl who had blonde
hair and her Grandmother’s alien skin.
She was named Alice. (Alice In Wonderland)
*Alice in Wonderland was (and still is) one of my favorite movies from my childhood.

34. Due to a bad chance card, Colin was fired from
his job. Though, he doesn’t seem to be too
terribly upset about it.

35. Birthday time for Alice arrived very quickly, and as you can see she aged
into a super adorable toddler.

36. Ariel has completed her first lifetime want of
reaching the top of the music career. Her new
lifetime want is to reach the top of the
oceanography career.

37. Ariel is pregnant again! I’m sort of hoping she has multiples since she was a
triplet herself, but I’m totally okay with whatever. Especially since multiples
are a pain in the butt to take care of.

38. Before we can find out what Ariel’s
having, it’s time for the first born
(and only born so far) to have a
birthday!
Grandma Mars was more than happy
to take her grandbaby to her
birthday cake.
Alice aged into a beautiful child. Not
that I had any doubts, she was a
gorgeous toddler and her family is all
good looking!

39. Soon Ariel was going into labor!
She had twin girls – Ashley (left) and
Mary-Kate (right) both have blonde
hair, but Ashley has gray eyes and
Mary-Kate has green. Mary-Kate
also has a slightly darker skintone.
*I loved Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen movies (and
Full House of course) when I was growing up.

40. The twins’ birthday arrived very quickly, and soon Grandpa Eric and
Mommy Ariel were bringing them to their first birthday cake!
They aged beautifully as you can see, and are even wearing matching
sweater dresses (since it is the middle of winter in my game.)

41. Ashley (left) got the family eye shape,
but she got a very interesting nose.
Hopefully she’ll grow into her
genetics!

Mary-Kate’s genetics stray pretty far
from her Alice and Ashley’s but she’s
still very gorgeous and definitely my
favorite of the twins.

42. Alice got a snow day! Which, in the
real world would mean fun with
friends and a break from everything.
However, in my sim world, it does
not and as a result Alice spent her
snow day first catching up on
homework, and then working on her
skill points. She did get to play with
her sisters though while working on
her creativity skill.

43. The twins’ next birthday arrived
almost as quickly as their first, and
so it was now time for them to join
their older sister in childhood.
They both aged wonderfully and are
wearing matching outfits again.
Ashley grew into her genetics a bit
too, so that’s a plus!

44. The twins get along really well too. They love doing things together – even
skilling! Though, they do sneak off sometimes and play catch in the front
yard, but I quickly correct them and send them back to skilling ;)

45. It’s finally time for Alice to become a teenager! And holy smokes, she aged
nicely. She looks a lot like Ariel actually. You can’t really tell so much in
this picture but in the mirror when I was giving her the make-over she did.

And since this is a joint legacy, the lifetime want she gets on my computer
probably won’t be the same as on the next person’s computer so it’s
irrelevant.

46. Colin has achieved his lifetime want
of maxing out all of his skills! His
new lifetime want is to become a
mad scientist.
A few hours after her father, Alice
maxed out all of her skills.

47. I love the twins. They are inseparable! They work on their skills and their
homework together.
Also, if you look above the chess table, I hung the picture that Katie had one
of the kids paint when she had the family.

48. Katie had sent the family womrat over in Mars’
inventory, but unfortunately I forgot to feed it
so Dopey died. But, this is the family’s new pet
– Panda!

49. So, at this point in the legacy, I’m
on my final day with the family.
And boy, it sure was hectic. All of
the following events occurred at
around 6pm sim time.

50. First, Alice arrives home from work with a
promotion – making her an overachiever! And
giving her another scholarship. Alice received a
total of $8,000 in scholarships.

51. As Alice is arriving home, her grandmother
Mars is passing away in the living room in front
of her youngest two grandchildren – Ashley
and Mary-Kate.

52. After everyone had time to grieve, it was time for the twins to become
teenagers!
Ashley and Mary-Kate receive $5,500 each in scholarships giving them a
combined total of $11,000 added to their sister Alice’s scholarships, the trio
has $19,000 in scholarships.

53. Ashley (left) has aged into her
genetics VERY well I must say. She
looks fantastic.

And not that it was any surprise,
Mary-Kate also aged wonderfully.
She looks more like her sisters now,
but still strays the furthest from her
Mom.
