Jobs and Steve Wozniak found themselves at the forefront of an industry
on the verge of an explosion. Their fledgling enterprise, the Californiabased Apple Computer, Inc.,quickly set the standard for personal

creation of Apple employee Jef Raskin’s Macintosh.

41. Death…
Jobs died at his
California home around 3
p.m. on October
5, 2011, due to
complications from
a relapse of his
previously treated isletcell pancreatic cancer
resulting in respiratory
arrest.
He had lost consciousness
the day before, and died
with his wife, children
and sister at his side.

43. Steve Jobs’ speech at
Stanford University
“Your time is limited. So don’t
waste it living someone else’s
life. Don’t be trapped by
dogma which is living with the
results of other people’s
thinking. Don’t let the noise
of other’s opinions drown out
your own inner voice. And
most important, have the
courage to follow your heart
and intuitions. They somehow
already know, WHAT YOU
TRULY WANT TO BECOME!
Everything else, is secondary.”
