This document summarizes the design of a compact dual-band bandpass filter with high isolation for GPS and WLAN applications. The filter is designed using stepped impedance resonators to achieve dual passbands at 1.575 GHz for GPS and 2.4 GHz for WLAN in a small size of 30.14mm x 21.16mm. It provides high isolation of 55 dB between the two passbands and wide upper stopband rejection of 38 dB from 2.7 to 5.3 GHz. The circuit was simulated based on the provided dimensions and matches well with the frequency response reported in the original paper.
