Survey Analysis, Findings and Recommendations
Note: This report was compiled for Capricorn Business Park as part of a commissioned study to
describe the community profile of adjacent Vrygrond/Hillview areas. It contains the end result
of a participatory study of the informal economy of Vrygrond, Hillview and Overcome Heights,
South Africa. It primarily contains the findings, analysis and some recommendations and should
be read in conjunction with the Skills Audit in the same area – which refers in more detail to the
available skills sets of residents in the area. Although not originally intended, the analysis will
lead to the publication of an article and/or academic paper, and feedback is welcomed.
