Since the 1990s, black soccer players have reported experiencing racial abuse from fellow teammates and local fans through chanting, whistling, and remarks in stadiums and public places. This discrimination has caused some players to consider quitting. The document proposes contacting soccer officials to increase security and enforce bans against racist behavior as well as using celebrities to raise awareness through shows and commercials in order to help address racism in European soccer.
